Insert Coupons
Insert coupons are found inside the Sunday edition of many newspapers. They are published by SmartSource, Vlassis (Redplum), General Mills, and Proctor & Gamble. There is usually at least one SmartSource and one Redplum insert each Sunday (excluding major holiday weekends). General Mills are published about once every 2 months. P&G Savers (Proctor & Gamble) are published 1-2 times per month. Other than internet printable coupons, insert coupons will be your largest source for obtaining coupons.

I get on average 2-4 Denver Posts, and either 1 Colorado Springs Gazzette, or 1 Pueblo Chieftan each Sunday. You can go to Sunday Coupon Preview to get a look at what will be in the paper before you buy it. All inserts are regional, and not every paper will have the same coupons, or inserts, nor will they have the same value.

through their websites as a regular feature or during special promotions. Some
also make monthly emailed newsletters available which may feature one or more
printable coupons. Basic personal information is required for registration. You
will want to set up a separate email for couponing so that your regular inbox
does not become overloaded. You may set up a gmail, yahoo or hotmail account
for free. These coupons usually carry a print limit of two per computer. Some of my favorite manufacturer websites that have a variety of coupons are: CouponNetwork.com, Campbells.com, BettyCrocker.com, SnackPicks.com, Kelloggs.com, Pillsburry.com.
Retail Websites
Many retailers, like Walmart, Kmart,
Walgreens, Target, King Soopers, and Safeway to name a few, offer printable
coupons on their website. These coupons are a mix of store specific coupons and
manufacturer coupons. The print limit is usually two per computer. Some
retailers use coupons.com to power their coupon page so the manufacturer
coupons are the same that you will find at Coupons.com and the print limits
carry over. In other words, if you print two honey nut cheerios coupons from
Coupons.com, you will not be able to print the same coupons from the retailers
website. King Soopers and Safeway have coupons that you can load to your store
loyalty cards. These coupons, however,
do not double, and you cannot take them off your card unless you use them or
they expire. So I wouldn’t load anything below $1 unless you can’t find another
coupon for that item.
All You Magazine
This magazine is available only at Walmart ($2.88) or by subscription (as low as $1.00). It is full of valuable coupons. Sometimes the newstand issue contains coupons not found in subscription copies. Allyou.com also features exclusive coupons.com printable coupons.

Peelies
These are coupons that manufacturers attach directly to their product and you peel off at the time of use. Sometimes it may involve buying another product as well to receive the savings.

Manufacturers You can E-Mail for High Value Coupons!
This is an awesome way to build your
coupon stockpile and get items for free. For those of you who have been working
your way through the list, how has it been going?
One of my favorite ways to get
high-value and sometimes even FREE item coupons is e-mailing manufacturers. It
is very simple and doesn’t take a whole lot of your time. Here is a list of
companies who have been known to send out coupons to consumers who contact
them. All you need to do is go to the links included below and send the
manuafacturer a little note.
Not sure what to say when you
contact them? Most of the time I just let them know that I like their product,
sometimes I’ll give them a suggestion on how they could potentially improve
their product, and other times I’ll just ask if they are willing to send me a
coupon so I can try/continue to use their product. It doesn’t have to be
anything long or fancy. Just keep it simple!
I challenge all of you to get as far
through this list as possible…even if it takes you a month or two to do so. I
promise, it will pay off! In a week or two, you’ll be running to the mailbox
instead of walking!
